Sappiamo tutti che sono una delle culture più sessiste del pianeta, ma questa cosa degli uomini repressi che per sfogarsi fanno un tackle alle donne ferme per strada mi mancava. 
Nel frattempo il governo britannico (Labour) ha praticamente restaurato la famigerata Section 28 di Thatcheriana memoria.

Poor teachers. Badly paid, overworked, and before teaching a single fact, they have to deal with pupils imbibing Andrew Tate, suffering mental health crises, or being starving hungry because their parents can’t afford to give them breakfast.
Throw in the most toxic culture war surrounding trans kids, with schools waiting years for guidance from the Government on how to handle the reality on the ground, and yet again they’ve been left in the dark trying to cope.
I know exactly how they feel. That was my adolescence – and that of my entire generation of gay people. “Left in the dark trying to cope” could be the title of a book about lesbian, gay and bisexual pupils growing up under Section 28, the 1988 law that gagged teachers from mentioning homosexuality. It took 15 years to repeal, casting a shadow of shame right into the 21st century.
Section 28 of the Local Government Act was particularly noxious because of how broad the wording was. Schools could not “promote the teaching… of the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretended family relationship”. It meant teachers felt it easier to say nothing than risk getting into trouble. It meant you heard “fag” in the playground but not “gay” in the classroom. It felt that you didn’t exist, didn’t matter, and certainly weren’t equal.
Last week, quietly, the Government introduced a new Section 28. In long-awaited guidance for schools on Relationships and Sex Education, the section on LGBT content contains two phrases that will harm a generation of gender-nonconforming children.
The first is: “Schools should be mindful to avoid any suggestion that social transition is a simple solution to feelings of distress or discomfort.”
This is idiocy and cruelty. Perhaps you’ve never spoken to a trans person who while at school socially transitioned (which means dressing and presenting as the other gender, sometimes using a different name) – or their families. I have. I’ve seen how it enables pupils to cope, to feel more in harmony with who they are. Distress can be reduced so kids can at least focus on schoolwork.
No one thinks it’s “simple”, so why include that word unless the Government wants to muzzle the solution entirely? Teachers will be too afraid to allow any discussion about social transitioning at all. Another blackout.
The second phrase is perhaps worse: “Where schools decide to use external resources, they should avoid materials that… encourage pupils to question their gender.” The entire purpose of education is to learn and to question. This isn’t only anti-trans, it’s anti-education. The powerful only want the powerless to stop questioning if they don’t want them to think.
Everything about gender should be questioned. Your own. The concept. How it manifests in society and in individuals. Who it harms, who it helps. How it morphs through history and different cultures – and why it sustains. Gender identity is entwined with this. To withdraw materials related to it is to deny reality and choke thought.
I questioned my gender as a child and still question it today. I’m 48. But the key thing is, I was not in distress about it, unlike those with gender dysphoria. Like it or not, some kids will question their gender, regardless of what teachers say. And other kids won’t because they know exactly what their gender is; either because it aligns with their sex or because it doesn’t. Sorry folks, but some pupils know that they’re trans – and know that they will need to transition. Placing them in a vacuum won’t change that.
At least, elsewhere in the guidance, it says pupils “should learn about all protected characteristics, including sexual orientation and gender reassignment, by the end of their secondary education”. And that kids should learn that legally, people with protected characteristics “have protection from discrimination”. But the issue of questioning one’s gender and considering a solution if required is erased. Those two overarching restrictions are themselves a form of discrimination. They will overshadow everything, chilling discussions as teachers fear reprisals if they dare speak transgender’s name.
The paranoid assumption underlying this is that kids could be persuaded into questioning their gender so that they end up not just socially but medically transitioning. This is the same belief system that argues the “promotion” of homosexuality causes it. That’s not how it works.

The Government isn’t just not listening to advice, however: they’re actively ignoring it. In tandem with the guidance, the Department for Education also published the results of its consultation on this.
“Do you agree with the proposed changes related to gender identity and gender reassignment in the guidance?” the consultation asked. Almost two-thirds (64 per cent) of the more than 14,000 respondents said no. The teachers’ union, the NASUWT, cited numerous concerns in its response, which were forwarded to me. The union told the Government, for example, that staff may not be able to act in the best interests of each child with a “curriculum that would in large part deny the reality of the experience and circumstances of many transgender, intersex and gender-questioning children”.
The department didn’t care. It prefers instead to kowtow to the anti-trans voices now dominating the landscape. This isn’t about pupil welfare. It’s cynical, craven politics. A flailing Government, more worried about bad press than the bad mental health of children, caving to a moral panic.
It was published the day after 10 Downing Street held a reception to celebrate Pride. There’s no pride in silence. From September 2026, when the guidance comes into force, a new blackout will be upon us. But it’s the same darkness, the same damage, just committed against a smaller, even more vulnerable group: anyone whose gender identity doesn’t conform. Poor teachers. Their distress will be nothing compared to that of their pupils.
Il riassunto breve è che il governo ha tirato fuori le nuove linee guida per le scuole per l’educazione sessuale ed all’affettività, e nella sezione riguardante gli argomenti LGBTQIA+ c’è scritto:
Le scuole dovrebbero fare attenzione ad evitare ogni suggerimento che la transizione sociale sia la soluzione per quando gli studenti si sentono a disagio.
Che, tradotto, vuol dire “non parlate di transizione sociale a scuola”.
Le linee guida poi continuano:
Se le scuole usano risorse esterne, dovrebbero evitare materiale che incoraggia gli studenti a mettere in dubbio il proprio genere.
Che è censura pura e semplice.
L’articolo spiega benissimo che queste due frasi riflettono l’assunto (sbagliato) che le persone minorenni possano essere convinte a transizionare pur non essendo trans con una sorta di “contagio sociale” (che su quest’argomento non esiste).
Il “bello” è che il governo se ne frega dell’opinone degli esperti, che si sono schierati contro queste linee guida, ma anche contro l’opinione del pubblico (dei 14mila commenti sulla versione temporanea pre-pubblicazione quasi due terzi hanno detto che non andava bene) e dei sindacati (che hanno protestato a riguardo).
Ma il governo deve inseguire il voto dei fascisti, e quindi.
A proposito. Intervista ai figli e figlie e figlɜ dei membri del Bayswater Group, un “gruppo di supporto” per genitori di giovani persone trans. Dove per “gruppo di supporto” si intende “gruppo in cui si danno consigli di come picchiare le persone trans perché restino cis”.
Linea testa sotto la sabbia, eppure funziona sempre benissim
Nel caso ve lo siate perso:
JKR chiede ai suoi follower di boicottare la catena di negozi Marks & Spencer perché “mette in pericolo le donne” dopo che la direzione della catena si è scusata con una cliente per un “problema” capitato in uno dei loro negozi.
La sequenza degli eventi è stata:
La donna è andata con la figlia adolescente in un negozio M&S per comprare un reggiseno per la figlia. Mentre erano nel reparto intimo una dipendente si è avvicinata ed ha chiesto, “Posso essere d’aiuto? Cercate qualcosa in particolare?” La donna ha risposto no, e la dipendente si è allontanata.
Tornata a casa la donna ha scritto una mail alla direzione di M&S dicendo che lei e la figlia “in uno dei vostri negozi siamo state avvicinate da una donna trans, ossia un uomo biologico (come si capisce dal fatto che era alto 1 metro e 80), nel reparto intimo, che anche se è stata gentile ci ha fatte sentire a disagio.” La direzione ha scritto una lettera di risposta scusandosi dell’accaduto, e la donna ha venduto la storia ai tabloid, che l’hanno pubblicata.
Ora, faccio notare:
- Ci sono zero prove che la dipendente fosse trans a parte il fatto che era più alta del normale.
- La dipendente non ha fatto altro che fare il suo lavoro: ha chiesto se avevano bisogno di aiuto, ed avendo avuto risposta negativa si è allontanata.
- Nonostante ciò, i giornali hanno ritenuto la notizia degna di essere pubblicata.
- La Rowling l’ha rilasciata chiamando un boicottaggio nei confronti di M&S.
Quindi il solo fatto che una bigotta si sia sentita a disagio perché era in presenza di una donna che ha percepito essere trans è sufficiente per avere articoli sui giornali e l’attenzione delle celebrità che dicono “questa cosa qui non deve succedere mai più”.
Ma che cosa non deve succedere? Che minchia devono fare le persone trans, scomparire completamente dalla società?

Cioè rendiamoci conto. Se questa qui avesse detto “Una commessa negra mi ha chiesto se poteva essere d’aiuto ed io mi sono sentita a disagio M&S deve fare qualcosa” sarebbe stata giustamente sfanculata. Ed invece perché attacca le persone trans ha il supporto dei giornali e della società.

Fantastico, come era intuibile non conosce neppure la fisonomia della sua persona, le ovaie non producono ovociti, questi sono predeterminati durante lo sviluppo del feto ed in numero definito alla nascita.

Ma è pure più assurdo perché manco si sa se la commessa è trans, la tizia ha visto la commessa, ha pensato al concerto dell’essere trans e le è venuta paura.
Sta gente non devi ascoltarla, devi dar loro un referral da uno psicologo.

Un po’ di giorni fa hanno lanciato una nuova memecoin, chiamata green dildo coin, proprio che più cringe non si può. I malesseri che l’hanno creata per farla diventare virale hanno organizzato il lancio in campo di dildi verdi durante le partite della wnba, il basket femminile.
Una cosa di rara bassezza e disgusto che è diventata più di quello che si pensava. Nella metà marcia dell’internet e della società è diventata una cosa divertentissima e anche una lezione alle atlete così imparano a chiedere pià soldi.

Dio sollevami dalla tentazione di rispondere a questo post, dammi la forza di resistere alla calligrafia invisibile della ragione che sfugge tra le righe di queste parole. Concedimi la saggezza di discernere l’età dell’anima dalla cronologia terrena e la pazienza di comprendere le vie misteriose attraverso cui l’amore sceglie di manifestarsi. Illumina la mente di chi legge affinché possa trovare equilibrio tra giudizio e comprensione, tra il sorriso ironico e l’empatia profonda. Infondi nel cuore di tutti noi la capacità di vedere oltre le apparenze, riconoscendo che ogni relazione, come ogni percorso di vita, è un intricato mosaico di scelte, circostanze e destini intrecciati. Jake’s school told his parents this week that Edinburgh council is applying its trans-exclusionary bathroom policy across the city. Last month, a council official cited the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman, as well as a case specifically about school bathrooms brought in Scotland, as justification for the ban.
After his first day back, Jake told Anne he felt sad and had “lost trust” in the school. He said it “wasn’t as bad as expected”, but the only time he used the gender-neutral bathroom he had to lie to his friends about why he was using it. And at the end of the day he couldn’t go when he needed to, because there are only single-sex toilets on the route his class takes to leave the building.
Since Jake came out when he was eight – after years of expressing that he was a boy – Anne describes him as “absolutely consistently, determinedly, comfortably, and happily himself”.
But the situation at his school, which has been supportive of Jake’s gender identity and use of facilities for three years, has taken its toll on her family.
On top of this, she has been referred to social services and the police for accessing gender-affirming care for Jake. This is particularly terrifying for Anne because Jake is adopted and already experienced the trauma of losing two families as a young child.
“It’s absolutely vile that all of this is being done in the name of protecting children,” said Anne.
Fiona, 41, has also spent the summer panicking about what the new term will bring for her trans daughter Dani, who is thirteen and has always used girls facilities at school.
Fiona was contacted by her local council in Scotland for a meeting shortly after the Supreme Court ruling in April, and like Anne, was told her child was banned from using the girls toilet. Again, the alternative offered is the gender neutral disabled toilet, but this is not an option for Dani who is not out as trans.
“Dani says to me, ‘Oh mum, if you’re speaking to them, you’ll deal with it’.” Fiona explained. “She’s fairly confident that I’ll fix it. Because that’s what you do as a parent. You just fix the things that they need fixed, and you guard them and protect them as much as you can.”
