This week, we saw an introduction of a new front in the DRF war. -A-/Coven/Stain Εmpіre/ROL have decided that they were gоing to go аfter the RMT Bot army themselves.
To date‚ they have aborted approx 10 Titans, and a handful of SC’s. There are reports that they have even cancelled builds in progress. They do not seem to defending their CSAA’s. The have also started a full on assault of their station systems. Several stations have already been RF’d.
This week, we’ve had a mixed bag of results. Tuesday, we did a full CTA and were able to get 1500 people on TS. That’s excellent!! We know we have the people to do what we need to do. Unfortunately, all of our pre-planted SBU’s had been killed and we had to redeploy them. Bottom line, we weren’t able to truly capitalize on our numbers.
Wednesday, we had better luck. SBU’s stuck in F-D and IR-, so we were able to make a play for them.

This was a good win, and if we had the same #'s and FC’s each and every day, we’d be well on our way to getting things done.
Thursday, we went to help br1ck save the D-I station system. We were winning the fight, then they had enough and dropped supers on us. Nothing we could do, so back to medical bay we went. Oh yeah, we had this awesome bomber fleet out all day as well. There was about 60-90 in fleet at various times, and they went around and popped SBU’s. We save 3 stations from going into RF by doing this. So after DT if you’re on, check for bomber fleets
Today ZLZ’s Ihub armor timer came out. PL/DRF were able to get 25ish Titans and 60ish SC’s into system before us. By the time we were ready to roll, we were out numbered 2:1, not even counting the supers. We told our capitals to stand down, and thought about standing down the fleet as well. The fleet was looking for a fight, so in we went. Due to the odds… we should have been welped completely.
Manks Girl and LordDragon did a great job. http://kb.morsus-mihi.org/?a=kill_relat … id=9465491
We were able to take out a lot, and probably would have won the fight if it had not been for their supers support. It’s a great showing as to what we can do still during US TZ. Just add in supers, and we are back at the top of the game.
In the NC, we have some 400 supers spread across the alliances (There’s over 100 just in RAWR alone). It’s time to mobilize and fully utilize their potential, so we can do an offensive right and take back the space that was lost and hit back at those who came for us.
7-K station comes out Saturday (20:20) and ZLZ comes out on Monday (02:00). Let’s show them what we got, and how we operate.
All alliances have been giving staging assignments.
RAWR should be:
Subcaps - QFF
Capitals - QFF
Supers - QFF/O-L (Don’t move solo, and always use a scout)
Make sure you and your ships are in the staging area’s so fleets can pick up and go.
It used to be that we could put out a Jabber alert for caps and get 255 pilots in fleet within an hour.
Now we get 50.
If we stop being scared of fielding the caps (titans/sc’s/dreads/carriers), we will win this fight.
I stopped login on Jabber after being spammed 5 times in less than one hour, two times for a “test” and 3 times for the same fleet (in less than 5 minutes).
Seriously, whoever is spamming Jabber with alerts should be punched in the dick.
If we have ops posted here and/or on eve mails soon enough, we’ll have numbers. That’s all.
Εdіt - I’ll add this. Tо hаve numbers in fleet‚ we need those :
- Scheduled operations (OPS CALΕNDAR ON TOP OF FORUMS FFS)
- Updates and battle reports (thanks so much Ronan Teіsdari fоr this threаd‚ btw, we need more of these)
- Propaganda (Εven crappy photoshops, anythіng)
I’m not sure at what point the line will be drawn and we’ll start taking this seriously enough again, but DRF/PL already hit QFF once this week and successfully took down the jammer. That means we’re vulnerable in Tribute, and if/when ZLZ falls QFF will be next. I’m hoping that spring break is wrapping up, and we’ll get our numbers back up again, if not at least our fights will be much closer to home…
Our MilCom Ronan posting an actual LIST of why we didn’t enter ZLZ at all is probably the single best thing he could have done‚ especially since some FC said they had 300 supers instead of the mere ~140 (didn’t count them yet, sorry) they did bring. Hopefully it’ll wake people up: “Oh crap, they’re in Supercarrier jump range of quite a bit of trib and Titan jump range of QFF and 2CG, they really CAN start besieging Tribute now! Maybe I should start getting my fellow man to wake up!”
But hey, that’s ok, continue to pretend it’s not happening. Heck, our supers stand down all the time (can’t imagine why) so go ahead and sell the thing, your buying of carriers will really help defend the North! You tell those silly fools in leadership not to give us accurate updates but instead fluffy propaganda, as hearing things through the grapevine is definitely better for our mental well being!
Lоl, insults. I wаsn’t there I have far more important things to sort in RL than sitting for hours waiting to fight only to be told we’re going to let the Russians take yet another system. Ronan didn’t post a reason for not entering ZLZ he posted A LIST and thats it and as I wasn’t there that list to me appears to be our chief military guy ‘inadvertently’ scaring people off with ‘this what we have to fight against’. To the normal level guys that list of supercaps isn’t a goal its a nasty little reminder what we have to deal with and TBQFH the fact we aren’t dealing with it. Not everyone has access to exactly the same information
I dont give a rats arse whats going on at the top‚ but if after nearly losing 2 regions the majority of the NC isnt in full combat mode then there is something rotten going on and its needs fixing now not when QFF or H-W or UMI is sieged. If we dont we might as well start learning Russian.
And for those of you that keep saying attack delve or the dronelands. You need to catch up on things, the DRF dont give a toss about those system they are pinning all hopes on killing the NC and taking our space. If we fuck off and SBU their space we are giving them our space.
If Russia invaded Alaska would you really wait until they are with in striking distance of Washington DC before you mobilise properly?
Personally I’d prefer accurate explanations for why event X or Y did/didn’t happen as opposed to “we will next time!!” rhetoric. Facts are facts. I’d rather be fed hard facts through my alliance than have to rely on third party sites like Kugu/failheap/coad where things get distorted.
For what its worth I’d be interested in the possibly of shifting from a purely defensive force and start pondering offensive fleets‚ or at least enlist the assistance of some additional blues to hit multiple targets at once. If we can force them to split their super-fleet between multiple high-priority targets they will be much easier to handle. Is there any reason why we can’t go around hitting other targets of opportunity while they’re busy blobbing the shit out of a single system?
Good old Jean-luc picard said it best in a similar situation: http://youtu.be/cGF1NP-FrCU
So…yeah. At least we didn’t jump the supers in as that would have been a meat grinder. On the other hand we had a chance much earlier. You have to beat the reds to the punch. They have no lives at all and will happily wait and wait in a system and secure it before you even fire a shot.
Now the reds are in range of trib. And that makes defending gem a lot more tricky. Make no mistake we can still win this thing, the southern russians are inflicting a beating on WN and others but quite frankly we need to go on the attack, do to them what they have been doing to us. No more waitng for stuff to happen and then defending, go on the offense. Bring our supers and shove them down their throat. Lag their systems out, attack their poses. Make them react.
The other day impy took a conventional cap fleet out and reinforced multiple towers. The fleet eneded up getting hot dropped but it felt good to be out putting pressure on them. We forced them to log in their caps and supers. If the system hadn’t been lagged out to hell and back we could have taken down some of their supers. If you make them start to bleed then they WILL have to go down south to defend their CSAA’s.
On rzr jabber‚ we have a channel specifically for supers. SC’s and Titans.
Across the NC, there is approx 400 people registered for that channel. 100+ just from RAWR.
If you seriously believe we cannot match that super blob, you are mistaken.
The question is, where are all those super pilots when push comes to shove, because 40 outta 400 is piss poor participation of any group of pilots.
You want to win this war and help put an end to RMT empire? Poke you super buddies to get in game and do something.
Our super blob can easily be the same size + larger. That does not include the ridiculous # of regular caps we can get into fleets.
If everyone put in 110%.. we could easily have 1 fleet complete with just supers, 1.5-2 fleets just in regular capitals, and another 2-3 fleets just for support.
That’s perspective.
