The original jetpack shooter returns, as InstantAction gets ready to debut their web-based version of Starsiege: Tribes at the Game Developers Conference next week. When browser-based gaming destination first announced GarageGames' Fallen Empires: Legions, people immediately started calling it a browser-based Tribes. InstantAction would rather we call it the spiritual successor, especially now that they've got an official web-based version of Tribes on the way. The new web-based version of Tribes will feature enhanced graphics, thanks to InstantAction's powerful browser-based gaming tools, along with better modding options. Visitors to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next week will be able to get their hands on a playable version of Tribes, while learning how InstantAction managed to deliver an updated version of the game in web browser format.

Io mi ricordo che una volta sono andato sul server renegades perchè i classic eran vuoti, dopo 7 rocketjump da base a base in heavy su snowblind ho detto "ok." e ho disinstallato il ricordo dalla mia mente.
* GarageGames purchased the ownership of the Tribes IP (all Tribes games) from Activision/Vivendi late last year.
Questa notizia e` la piu` importante, finalmente l'Intellectual Property di Tribes e` tornata alla Garage Games e quindi potremmo vedere qualche novita` in futuro.

We will provide a new master server address with the release. * The game is not compatible with version 1.11 but you should be able to play the same demos as recorded on previous versions * Mods and configs used in 1.11 will not be directly compatible, without at least minor changes, as the base game scripts have been cleaned up considerably by Andrew * The game does NOT have updated graphics, this was a PR misunderstanding. The game does support modern file formats (PNG textures, Zip files)
