L’influencer di estrema destra e’ proprio una roba bruttissima, e infatti si stanno beccando diversa merda su reddit, giustamente.
NON hanno inserito il login con google, per quanto ho capito. Hanno inserito dentro il client di proton la possibilita’ di leggere e scaricare messaggi dalla posta gmail.

Il solito demente del CEO di proton sta al momento peggiorando la situazione dicendo “vabbé è troppo difficile fare vetting dei MMMMILIONI di influencer, e se vado su X sento dire che proton è comunista, e se vado su reddit invece siamo nazisti, quindi bona…”

Just to play devil’s advocate here, the problem is that all of the non partisan tests you suggest, are actually partisan. What the left considers extremist propaganda, is completely different from the right. Even the Holocaust point, is subjective when it comes to Lapierre.
I’m not an expert on the man, but having followed the online discussions for a few days, his defenders say that the man has never denied the Holocaust, he simply interviewed a subject who has denied the Holocaust in the past, and in that interview the Holocaust didn’t even come up. So again, there is a partisan framing, the right says interviewing a holocaust denier does not automatically make you a holocaust denier, while the left says only holocaust deniers interview holocaust deniers. Then, the official position of French justice is that he is not, or else he would be prosecuted as holocaust denial is a crime in France.
In the end, Proton terminated him anyways for the reasons we have already stated, but in today’s polarized political landscape, even the “standard” screening you suggest, is much more open to interpretation than one might initially imagine.

da calendario “tecnologico” è qualcosa di vecchio però (è un arm di generazione precedente)…
capisco anche che ci vuole esperienza a farle ste robe e in europa non ce nè mai stata
però oltre al ritardo prorpio di roadmap progettuale/commercializzazione, stanno commercializzando un’architettura CPU progettata circa cinque o sei anni fa…

Quello che mi delude di più è che resta comunque una roba costruita da TSMC. Per carità, se avessimo avuto una factory in europa già in grado di produrre chip a 6nm come questo lo avremmo già saputo, perciò me lo dovevo aspettare. Quindi “insomma”. Buona notizia in generale ma non buona come dovrebbe.
Ora che hanno fatto questo cmq vogliono ridurre il ciclo di sviluppo a 18 mesi e la versione 2 dovrebbe essere già pronta nel 2027. Speriamo non implodano male prima.
