La gt540m non è esattamente una scheda top class (dovrebbe essere classe media). Ti fa girare bene qualsiasi gioco in direct x9, ma Ac4 va solo direct x 11 e lì , la scheda non è un gran chè.
PS: sono andato adesso a leggere un pò in giro sta cosa delle prestazioni. La ubisoft fondamentalmente ha detto... " ce ne siamo fottuti dell'ottimizzazione. Se vi gira male, compratevi un'altra scheda."
Io ho una hd4850, a 1920x1080, dettagli medio-alti e no filtri mi va benissimo.

Non ne ho idea. Io ho letto che supporta solo le direct x 11.
Che poi, probabilmente neppure a me girerebbe bene.
Nel senso che sono sicuro che per partire mi parta e posso anche farlo andare fluido, ma probabilmente dovrei abbassare risoluzione e togliere i filtri.

In realtà, non posso ancora cambiare pc , non ho soldi che mi escono dal culo.
L'unico gioco che spero mi giri ancora bene, prima di cambiare configurazione è Dark Souls 2. Preso quello sto davvero apposto per mesi lato videogame.
PS. Micencronin temo tu abbia un qualche problema nel tuo Pc, però.
In altri forum c'è gente che dice di riuscire a giocare dignitosamente a AC4 con quella scheda. Risoluzione 1366 , filtri disattivati ( ad eccezione della occlusione ambientale tenuta bassa e texture a livello medio).
Intanto ti ringrazio Syrus che mi aiuti, vorrei davvero sistemare questo problema perché sono appassionato di AC.
Non so che problema abbia il mio PC con AC perché tutti gli altri giochi funzionano.

Magari voi ve ne intendete di più e riuscite a trovare il problema.

La prima cosa che ho notato è che tu ci stai giocando con 4 giga di ram.
Alcuni video che hai postato ( gli utlimi due, che sono anche i più fluidi) ci stanno giocando con 6.
Io non sono un esperto, ma mi sa che un minimo di differenza la fa.
e' un portatile vero ??? , controlla se usa sempre la SV dedicata per assassin creed v ... a volte i portatili scazzano ed usano la integrata ... cmq cosi' a naso ti dico che purtroppo i portatili " consumer " , possono avere anche componenti che sulla carta vanno bene ma in game sukkiano ( lo dice uno che purtroppo ci gioca giornalmente )

Toh, la fine del mondo sta per arrivare. Una cosa sensata da lui. ok, che sarà banale, ma in effetti non è possibile che tu debba giocarci ad 800X600 (praticamente un porting per nintendo DS).
Non ti ha rilevato la scheda grafica. Vai nelle opzioni e forza la cosa aggiungendo Ac4 exe ai programmi ad "alte prestazioni".
Con dxdiag non mi rileva la scheda video Nvidia non so perché, però io se vado sul pannello di controllo Nvidia ho già messo come scheda grafica predefinita la GT540m, e anche per AC ho messo l'opzione "Processore Nvidia ad alte prestazioni" perciò dovrebbe usare quella boh.

come ti ho detto molte volte le prestazioni di un portatile " consumer " anche se ha buoni componenti sono inferiori rispetto un fisso ... purtroppo e' lo scotto che bisogna pagare per giocare su un portatile
, controlla se AC4 si puo' avviare in dx9 , invece che dx11 ; l'unica cosa e' abbozzare purtroppo , cmq io con il 3 ho giocato bene come config sto piu' o meno come la tua
Come faccio per avviarlo con dx 9?? 
alcuni giochi hanno un'altro exe per avviarlo , non so se su AC V ci sia ... e' un idea l'ho buttata la' ...
edit hai smanettato bene nelle opzioni video segando le merdate tipo ombre acqua e frociate varie ?
SI quello ho messo tutto al minimo tanto chissene l'importante è giocare anche se la grafica non è al top.

Non so magari metto dx10 all'inizio invece che di dX11, funzionerà? Ho letto che per Assassin's creed 3, l'anno scorso, ad alcuni ha funzionato.
