Want IUF RealCTF back?

I have made a little patch to fix some minor problems with RealCTF. Since then, we already have a USA server with RealCTF back on 24h a day. It is made up by }TCP{ and {KDS} in a joint effort, but although the connection is a T1, Europeans still have a little disadvantage there.

Now, Tam said the DM IUF server COULD be exchanged back for RealCTF, provided enough players would like this to happen.

Of course, the maps and media stuff is a rather large download. But it is a one time download and surely worth it. www.oldunreal.com is a good source for both the mod, and the maps. But on www.tcp-clan.nl you will also find some mirrors in the download section.

I remember having fun matches on the CTF, of course it was empty more often than a DM server, but many Italians actually found the way :-)

So lets be honest and ask ourselves if we want to add a second CTF server to the world. Also, should there be any technical things about my patch, I am always open for suggestions as to improve things, if that is possible. Details about the patch can be found on www.tcp-clan.nl in the download section, too :-)

Beam is no more problem, I would suggest it turned on now. The patched beam will make sure it is not misused

Well m8s that's a great, really great news, finally there is still a chance to play Unreal CTF. Very very good, I'll test it, if you want, ASAP.

sorry.I don't like CTF. But in these last weeks I don't like DM too. I like 2 vs 2 or (where is possible) 1 vs 1.

However if there are 2 Unr-CTF server I think it is a big opportunity to create a little tourney... or not?

Yes i fully agree there should be more CTF servers it make's an exelent addon like serpentine and inf both very succesfull mod's
but due to the lack of good ctf servers it never made it that far..

But we are starting to notice more people are rediscovering the mod and joining our USA server but of course it would be better to have one right here in europe..or 2 or 3 heheh Yeehaw bring them on !!!
