"as on previous TU tours in Europe and Japan Trey & Pat would like to invite two open minded musicians on stage at the end of every tu show for a musical blind date that we call TU+2. This is not meant to be seen as a battle of the bands or guitar wars challenge but rather an attempt at spontaneous composition thru collaborative improvisation.
Since TU lack the local connections in many smaller markets they need a bit of help finding players.
so far we have enjoyed percussionists, middle eastern singers, bagpipe players, saw players, a fretless baritone guitarist, horns, acoustic jazz gutarist, classical guitarists, upright bass, trapkit drummers, bulgarian throat singers, electronica percussionists, flutes and pipes and even an accordionist!
generally we find two musician at a time work best and as you can see the more eclectic instrumentalist and singers are preferred, but we would not rule out the local guitarist gun slinger (as long as he/she recognizes our right to contribute silence or leave the stage)."
insomma l'invito è di suonare un finale di concerto con Mastelotto e Gunn, in una sessione di improvvisazione acida come il progetto TU!!
voi avreste le palle? io decisamente NO! l'idea, a mio avviso, è bellissima.
avrei le palle di salire,di stringergli la mano, poi farei il riff iniziale di Master Of Puppets e basta Più che altro il problema è che improvvisare con quei due vuol dire riuscire a seguire Mastellotto nelle ritmiche e Gunn nei passaggi armonici; non credo che sarei capace di fare una delle due cose, figuriamoci assieme!
Il bello dello stick è che se sei un musicista-pizzaiolo puoi tirar fuori le pizze dal forno a legna con il tuo strumento, grazie alla forma a palettone.
l'idea, a mio avviso, è bellissima.
