Abelard, effettua preventivamente un atto di onaismo.

EDIT: Inoltre, i Pinkwater Security ?

They came up with the idea internally and then pitched it to Alcon Entertainment.
They prototyped the gameplay for a year
No ship combat mini game. It sounds like any sort of ship combat will be cinematic scenes playing out.
When you create you’re character you are actually creating two characters, and the second one is your twin, which will serve as your first companion. You don’t choose the twin’s skills/abilities as they have their own personality.
He didn’t say it outright but it sounds like there’s not a traditional class system. More about choosing play styles, and that will be at least partially defined during character creation. Mentioned it’s not like their previous games where they were using an established rule set (like Pathfinder).
You can’t change the archetypes of companions as they’re established characters that join you because of their skill set. Mentioned one of the companions being an engineer for example.
However you can change some companion abilities to suit your play style. Mentioned that having a flying drone like in the trailer is only one of the options for that engineer companion (and also there are multiple drones if you do use the drone).
In addition to weapons you will get gadget loot
It’s possible to play a character that is totally abilities based
Companions are a big pillar of the game, even bigger than their previous games. They have their own goals and stories.
There is romance with companions
Two companions join you on missions, but other companies can help you from the ship during these missions
The timeline it takes place in covers books 1 and 2 (or TV seasons 1, 2, and the first half of 3).
You will see consequences in the world of things such as Holden’s decisions during this time, experience the news of the Canterbury being destroyed, etc.
Will be visiting familiar locations (mentioned Ganymede, Ceres, and Mars).
Will be meeting familiar characters
Some of the actors from the show will reprise their roles in the game
You will have roleplaying freedom but not to the extremes. The question was about if you can be good or evil, and he said it’s more like “good samaritan” vs. “practical, pragmatic and greedy.” I took this to mean you won’t be slaughtering entire space stations because you want to be evil.
When asked if it’s linear, open world, or semi open world, he said semi open world but only because that’s such a vague definition he feels confident in saying it.
In terms of story, you will experience big story beats in a certain order but there is freedom to visit other places. Said it’s not a linear experience.
Mentioned Ceres being a hub where you can go talk to a lot of characters.
Was asked if game length is more like Expedition 33 or their previous games, said it was closer to the former but that it’s still a big game.
“Good, bad and weird” consequences to your decisions
Lots of political intrigue, and seeing the best and worst of humanity (The Expanse basically)
Protogen is part of the story
You will face off against a hybrid at some point
They want to emphasize how dangerous space is in the gameplay
You can use your mag boots to walk on walls and ceilings
Zero gee gameplay including combat
