Blue Protocol is the upcoming online anime RPG from Bandai Namco, in development by Project Sky Blue. This stunning anime game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and looks like a massive endeavour with huge production values.

In Blue Protocol, you and your friends have to explore and save a world in the brink of destruction. Apparently, there is some travel through space and time involved, which hopefully means that we'll get to see some awe-inspiring sci-fi locations.

The first four classes were already revealed: Twin Striker, Blast Archer, Spell Caster and Aegis Fighter. The first closed beta was exclusive to Japan and took place late July, running for a couple of days only. Blue Protocol is a PC exclusive as well, taking full advantage of the raw power of this gaming platform.

Blue Protocol almost feels like you are playing a fantastic anime. The amazing vistas and impressive bosses are just a few of its highlights. Combat seems fast and dynamic, with hints of KurtzPel, another impressive anime game, although one that is strictly focused in the brawling side of things. Genshin Impact is another lovely online anime RPG, but Blue Protocol clearly surpasses it in every regard.

We're yet to discover if it is an open world game or not, among other things. The business model was confirmed to be free to play by late February 2020, , confirming that Bandai Namco is no stranger to this monetization system. The Xbox One exclusive Bless Unleashed is another free-to-play game from Bandai Namco, with past projects including Rise of Incarnates or Supernova.

Blue Protocol is one of the most anticipated anime RPGs of late, so let's hope that it will find its way to other regions such as North America and Europe, something that Bandai Namco has already hinted at via an English localization job offer in early 2020. The Blue Protocol release date is yet to be confirmed

non sono fun degli mmo super farmosi orientali ma cazzo questa idea di un gioco a grafica anime... cazzo par figo! mi invoglia un sacco.

Se ne parla da un po', non si sa ancora quando arriva da noi ma lo stan traducendo.

Per chi segue ancora il genere mmorpg ed è fan del genere anime, questo è un titolo molto atteso.
Graficamente sembra una delle cose più anime like che siano state create.

Dichiarano in F2P non paytowin ma solo con estetica a pagamento.
Ovviamente è lecito avere sospetti, visto che è un mmo asiatico, come minimo ci sarà molto grind.

Ah, a quanto pare non ci sarà pvp, scelta un po' strana.

A quanto ho sentito, siccome volevano solo tester giapponesi e volevano evitare scazzi di gente con la vpn, han lasciato intendere che era aperta a tutti, così ognuno si iscriveva dal proprio ip.

Salvo poi inchiapparli all'ultimo secondo, annunciando japanese only.
Geni del male, però un trucchetto che fungerà solo la 1a volta

Ad ogni modo non ho ancora guardato video di gameplay.

Molto bello graficamente se piace lo stile anime, il combat system mi sembra molto in stile Tera.
