Egypt is expected to lead a planned international stabilization force to manage security in Gaza after it is given backing by the UN Security Council, diplomats tell the Guardian.
According to the report, European powers and the United States are preparing a motion that will give the force a UN mandate, without it being an actual UN peacekeeping force.

Non è tanto strano il fatto che Israele faccia dossieraggio ma piuttosto il fatto che quei dossier siamo pubblicati dal governo israeliano stesso, non si capisce lo scopo.

A me sembra più che altro che facciano fare brutta figura al governo italico che permette che accadano queste ingerenze da parte di una nazione straniera senza lamentarsi.

Ieri sera Hamas ha restituito altri due corpi, quelli del civile israeliano Ronen Engel di Nir Oz e del lavoratore thailandese Sonthaya Oakkharasr.
Stamattina militanti di Hamas avrebbero attaccato truppe israeliane a Rafah. Il solito Smotrich ed anche Liberman, che sarebbe all’opposizione ma è uguale se non peggio di Netanyahu, premono per tornare a combattere. Vedremo…

Israeli media report that a gag order has been imposed on the incident in Rafah.
I can, however, reveal one detail on why the gag order was issued:
The wounded are not Israeli soldiers, but private contractors settlers hired by the army to demolish homes in Rafah, an operation that has been underway since last week.
They were apparently destroying homes when they ran over an IED.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has “now begun a wave of strikes” in the southern Gaza Strip, it says in a statement.
These are against “terror targets” of Hamas, it says, “following a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement earlier today”.
As a reminder, Hamas has said it is not in contact with any fighters that may remain near Rafah, where the IDF alleges clashes occurred.
