faccio tranquillamente i 200 fps di media guardandomi una demo con fraps (e 125 fps in game tranne in alcuni punti) a 1280x1024..

Al limite con questo sistema:

asus av-800-ex
1 giga kingston
ati 9600 xt

a 1024x768 timedemo (piu' pesante del gioco normale, almeno del 15%) su braundorf b4

Quindi i 100 fps fissi si fanno...

fa una media di 140 fps guardando una demo con fraps attivo, e non mantiene i 125 fissi in game, ma 100 si.

In riferimento a quanto detto da sunseeker







Vorrei discutere, per chi ha un problema simile, sui parametri cfg//sistema per poter fare 125 fps.

A quel che ne so, da quando ho discusso con gnubbolo, con un amd 2800+ // p4 2.8 ghz o superiore, ed una geffo 4 Ti 4600 // ati 9500 o superiore, si dovrebbero fare (magari con minimo dei dettagli) 125 fissi quasi ovunque.

Quindi bleed posta la tua cfg + sistema hw + sistema operativo (i processii in background)

Eppoi smettila di copiare gli script da quelli di wsw .
pier oltre a quella con detttagli alti ne hai anche una per un pc pacco con un p4 2.6ghz e 6600gt?
IO P4 2600, radeon 9800 pro = fill rate 3040 Mpixel/s 125 fps a qualsiasi risoluzione con poca gente nel server = sono ovviamente cpu limited

TU P4 2600, nvidia 6600 GT = fill rate 2000 Mpixel/s


copia ed incolla la cfg di bleed è molto scarna e non dovresti avere problemi,
gioca a 800x600 e non usare filtri come antialiasing e anisotropico altrimenti è inutile -.-
fai 2 prove una sul tuo server da solo, su supply e le custom non ci sono problemi. su golden ( ma si gioca ancora ? ) dovresti avere problemi a tenere 125 fissi.
5o5 dovresti fare 10/20 fps di meno in ogni mappa.
nei pubblici incasinati ( su isi ) dovresti tenere 60 fps quasi ovunque cmq giocabile.

ET grazie alle poche limitazioni sulle cvars è SOLTANTO CPU limited.

e' luminosa, semplice e senza troppi bind incasinati.

Il problema e' su RADAR che non ho ancora capito e' l'unica mappa dove calano gli FPS a 60 su baserace ne faccio 125 fps

su mappe tipo supply 6on6 fa 120-130.

PPS: et è cpu limited, ma occhio che ci sono comandi che vi fanno perdere parecchi fps. Ad esempio r_ext_multitexture va messo ad 1, altrimenti si perdono il 20-30% di fps.
